Origin of the Brick Burger
Billy’s cousin, Bob Brickford was a brick mason. In 1904, we was
the master brick mason building the structure that now houses
Billys.

On a cold winter day, he bought some hamburger for his crew,
started a fire, formed a round ball from the hamburger, and
smashed it between two bricks. The “Brick Burger” was born. After
all these years, we bring it to Billy’s customers. A patty shaped like
a brick, just like the bricks that line the wall along the bar.

We proudly serve only fresh ground chuck burger, with our 1/2 lb burgers
served on our torta buns. All burgers come served with your choice of
